AIM Solar sunshade awnings are a sunshade and photo voltaic installation in one. During the darker winter months you will want to let the daylight in as much as possible. The AIM solar system folds towards the wall to minimize the shade during winter. In the summer position the AIM Solar system catches most of the direct sunlight to convert it into energy and keep your home cool at the same time. Winter

During the winter you will want as much natural (sun)light in your home as possible. As the AIM system folds tightly onto the wall, sunlight can enter unimpeded to allow for passive heating and optimal wellbeing. In the vertical position the solar panels are aimed towards the low winter sun, increasing electricity production.
